The Endless Embiggening Tonic which people can purchase in Draconis Mons lowers the pitch of your character’s audio files (which is very cool imo).

However there seems to be a bug where character voicefiles from abilities no longer play (which is less cool imo).

When my Human Male Berserker has the tonic active he will no longer yell the voicefiles attached to these skills/abilities:

“I will destroy you all!” when activating Berserk.
“No!” when Berserk is about to end
“Shake it Off!” soundfile no longer plays
“On My Mark!” soundfile no longer plays
“For Great Justice!” soundfile no longer plays
“Fear Me!” soundfile no longer plays

When not using the tonic the voicefiles play every single time without fail but with the tonic active they are gone.

I have also tested my Human Female Guardian with and without the tonic active. Without the tonic the shouts can be heard perfectly every time. With the tonic none of the shouts have any audio voicefile anymore.

it was stated that all racial and elite-spec quips were disabled during the tonic usage.
It’s a feature, not a bug (a bad one in my opinion)
But i’m much more concerned by the fact it has a 15 minute timer, when you already just activate it and deactivate it by using the tonic, so the timer has zero purpose besides being an extreme annoyance

I didn’t know ANet already stated it was an intentional feature when it acts and sounds like a bug to me.

Could someone point me to where this statement was made?

I agree that the 15 minute timer is rather annoying and superfluous but I guess it’s in line with the other Endless Tonics.

The fact it can’t be used underwater is rather odd as well, especially when it’s Endless Miniature Tonic counterpart can be used just fine underwater. So I’m not sure why the devs suddenly decided to deny the use underwater on this one.

Other then that I really like the tonic and even though they were pretty expensive for what they do I already purchased 3 to make my Human God ‘avatar’ characters appear more … godlike. I think it works especially well on my Weapon Of Balthazar and Champion Of Dwayna characters.

But the main downside is that I no longer hear any audio associated with my shouts.

Can’t remember where I read it.. maybe in the AMA?
There was a voice change effect on the tonic and maybe it bugged with the elite spec quips, I dunno.
