I already had a topic made about this but it is too far down the list now and I have some footage that shows the issue more clearly.

1: All cat shapes are too small except the Orange Tiger and the Fat Cat, I have 3 screenshots added as Attachment. 1 as Orange Tiger next to a Juvenile Jaguar Pet, 1 as Jaguar next to that same pet and 1 as little Cub next to the Mini Lion Cub.

2: The Orange Tiger has no sounds on any of his abilities while rest does.

3: The eyes of the Orange Tiger do not blink correctly, I have included a Youtube clip to show you what I mean

4: There seems to be a new bug which I can’t exactly place, at random times using the tonic can crash the game resulting in an error. Happened in Sparkfly Fen near the cannons at Tequatl and at the area in front of Skara Braevus in Blazeridge Steppes near the place where The Shatterer lands. I usually just use it, press 6, use it etc. till I get the Orange Tiger shape. Never had crashed before due to this item on both of those spots before Queen’s Jubilee patch.

If near the Low Land Burns waypoint I don’t seem to crash / get Orange Tiger shape in very few tries as well.

I really hope ArenaNet cares enough about the players of their game and fix this issue with a pretty nice item and for the cost of 100 laurels it should be special enough to be worth it and not buggy as it is now.

Are there no other cat lovers who have this tonic who can confirm some of my findings in the hope to get them being fixed? I really want this fixed

Bumping for the sake of fixing bugs. 100 laurels spent on a buggy item, please fix this so it is actually WORTH it.

I do feel that especially the kittens are really small. The fat cat is definitely bigger.

Still love the tonic though. The duration needs to increase.

[edit] Took forever to get the tiger. I can condirm the weird blinking bug. Looks creepy. He only blinks with the outer part of his eyelids.

These issues still exist, I know it is an pretty old post but still, it exists and making a new thread is pointless if you can bump the old one back up.

UPDATE: New bug added, I can’t 100% confirm this but after trying for at least 15 minutes to get the Orange Tiger shape with this tonic I all of a sudden got an error while transforming and it crashed my game. I was in Sparkfly Fen and had the same issue there the day before and on both occasions I did not see the Orange Tiger shape cross my screen.

I thought it was that shape that got bugged but in LA I managed to get the shape after just a minute without a crash. I’ll see if I can reproduce same issue.

EDIT: So it seems it is an issue but not related to Sparkfly Fen, it appears to either be random or only on boss locations. Edited main post so look there for more information at number 4.

As to number 4: I was trying to show the tiger to someone today. We were standing right outside LA on the bridge to Cornucopian Fields, near the waypoint. I cycled rapidly through the forms and got the game crash error. I logged back in and tried again, this time crashing in about three transforms even though I was taking a brief pause between shifts.

After which I decided I didn’t need to show her the tiger all that badly.

Weird that the cycling is bugging now. I really hope they can fix all issues, right now due to the error it sure ain’t worth 100 laurels

Just wondering, I know devs read the forums, but is something like this actually going to be fixed? It might seem low priority, but for a game that has looks being to most important thing, I actually think this is quite important :P

I can confirm the game crash bug, had it occur twice when switching cat form a few times (not rapidly, atleast a few seconds between changes, just trying to get a specific form). I think I sent a crash log in. Pretty sure it was in Plains of Ashford.

Since we are providing such valuable testing and error reporting Josh, could you pass on the the design team how nice having a male lion would be? One with a mane and very majestic looking. <3

Can you please make the tonic last a long time too? I just want to hang around as a tiger and not have to spend 10 mins spam clicking trying to get the tiger back after it wears off.

Assuming all reported issues will eventually be fixed, how do the issues get prioritized? Are they arranged by severity and time or is it possible that issues can be “forgotten” if they aren’t that common (like this tonic that might have been obtained by just a small amount of players)?

I won’t bump it any more, well, maybe I will if a new bug occurs :P

Yes, the bugs should be fixed, but you guys are grossly overreacting. I’ve been using this tonic constantly for months and never noticed any of these bugs.

Also, small cats are great, I’ve been using this tonic to help my huge charr do jumping puzzles and hide in WvW.

Well, even when correctly sized the cubs are still small, I just notice those issues pretty fast. Autism can be helpful for finding things that are different then they should be :P
