I recieved it from a gift and used it on my Artificer, which is 500, and the recipe is 275.

It is not showing up in any of my crafting tabs, mouseover another one says i know the recipe but it just not there.

Also, this website is having mega issues for me atm.

Check your game log, I consumed an endless toy golem recipe but learned “Giver’s Darksteel-Imbued Inscription (Rare)”.

I got the endless princess doll tonic recipe from a gift and had the same problem. The game log says I learned Giver’s Darksteel-Imbued Inscription instead… =/

Same Here, I used it for my weapon smithing, and didn’t get it. I have to love all the bugs in the game that don’t get fixed…

happened with me too. i am very disappointed it costed me 3 g and i didnt played last year since i have seen it my friend has this tonic i always wanted…. i dont know what to do now i do not need any other recipes..

Happened here, too. You just learn any other recipe and bum, nothing^^

+ i think, it’s not that nice, that everyone can craft them now, i had to pay last year loooots of gold, and i didnt even get all 5, only 2 :/

I saw that this got fixed (although some people are still having issues) but will there be any sort of refund for the players who were affected by this? I mean I bought a LOT of giant wintersday boxes to get that recipe (it was literally out of the last box I opened)…And I was really excited to get it. I didn’t know it was bugged or anything, and I shouldn’t have had to expect that consuming it would make me lose the recipe. It seems kind of unfair that players who got these recipes and tried to use them (cause that’s generally what you do with them) lose them due to something out of our control. The recipes are kind of rare to drop, and are worth quite a bit on the market (up to 150g right now for one of them)..So I mean sure, they’re just tonic recipes and nice little rewards for participating in the holiday events, but that’s a potential ~150g just destroyed for nothing, or at the very least, a rare drop that someone can’t afford to replace. And as mentioned before, there was no way we would have known the recipes were broken, and it was in no way the players’ fault or responsibility to make sure they worked correctly.

And sure, a lot of players got some rare Giver’s recipe instead of the tonic, but personally I’d gladly give up that recipe to get the endless princess doll tonic recipe I had meant to learn back.

Exact same thing happened to me, 2k boxes for that one recipe and it gave me golem.

Same, bought recipe and now i know golem tonic instead of griffon one. GG.

I also got this bug with the Griffon Tonic recipe. I tested it on two artificers and both had the same result. Here’s some screenshot proof:

Same. I used the princess one and nothing happened. Couldnt find it the any of the crafting stations.

I think the fix was just applied to the items, it was probably not retroactive because it can’t really tell if you learned the giver inscription recipe intentionally or due to the bug.

so , I spend 9 gold for nothing( when it will be fixed?

Ok I think I got this bug too.

I consumed the Endless Toy Golem recipe on my artificer, but I only see the option to craft the Endless Plush Griffon Tonic instead.

However, when I moused over the different versions of recipes on TP, it says the only one my artificer has learned is actually the Endless Toy Golem recipe. So perhaps ANet can still fix this properly.

So, with this bug in mind, i just bought the Griffon recipe since it’s the Golem one I need. So I double click, and i get the Griffon Tonic…. right. So, it’s been fixed and hey, it’s just 7 gold wasted but whatever, so I buy the Golem recipe since it’s only 4 gold. And I double click that one aaaaaand it say you learned the Griffon Tonic…. wtf. I go to my artificer and lo and behold two identical recipes for Griffon Tonic. Awesome…. (<—that was sarcasm)
