I noticed something odd whenever equipping a flamethrower using this trait. The trait reads: “You gain 200 Toughness while wielding a Flamethrower. In addition, you gain might for 15 seconds every 3 seconds, as long as you remain in this weapon kit.”

This means, my toughness should go up by 200. My base amount at the moment on my engineer is 655, and when I equip the flamethrower, it increases to 817, which is only an extra 161 toughness. Am I missing something here? When I first noticed something was wrong I was only getting a 150 buff. I apologize if this has already been talked about, it was something I saw and felt this needed attention.

Question, are you lv 80? If not then that’s why, because i know all the skills that say give X amount of Y stat will scale depending on your level, so if you’re NOT lv 80 then you wont be getting the full bonus until lv 80, however if you ARE lv 80 then i have no idea why you’d be getting less…

That might be the case then, I was not aware that it was effected by my level. Thank you, I was just reading the tool tip.

If you have toughness on a weapon that is equipped when you swap to the Flamethrower, you will lose the toughness from the weapon(s) while the Flamethrower is out. This can also make it look like you are not gaining as much.
