Guild Wars 2

This is a problem that has been around for months and especially seeing the ESL weekly today I feel it is important to bring up this exploit/bug. You could see this exploit in action if you tuned in to the G04GW2 stream; during the Apex vs SNP matches specifically. In the VoD during the fight at 19:05 is one example you can see the rocket turret used mid air. I realise me posting about this violates rule 17 in the ToS:

You will not exploit any bug in Guild Wars 2 and you will not communicate the existence of any such exploitable bug (bugs that grant the user unnatural or unintended benefits) either directly or through public posting, to any other user of Guild Wars 2.

But the fact that this exploit was shown during a tournament, was not only allowed but also the abusers were financially rewarded represented both the lax nature of the first half of the rule when it comes to tournaments and meant I felt it necessary to make a post else it continues to be used and become more widespread and more rewarded.

I won’t go into the method behind the exploit but it basically makes these turrets impossible to melee or aoe which is a huge increase to their survivability.

Seeing this exploit used more frequently in ranked/unranked queue as well as being monetarily rewarded in supposed official competitions (something that for most other games would result in disqualification) means that fixing this should become a higher priority.
