Guild Wars 2

Engineer kits, all of them i’ve used so far: flame thrower, grenades, bombs, elixir gun, all seem to randomly un-equip almost like auto sheath weapon, but in the middle of a fight, or just any random time. Is this intentional? I can’t see a reason why it would be. For the longest time i thought it was maybe something to do with my key board, or big clumsy fingers. Now i have come across a lot of engineers that say the same thing happens to them.

I thought it was like a timed thing similar to sheathing weapons while out of combat, but on some internal timer based on when you activated it. This happens to me constantly… The worst is trying to drop the #3 grenade, but the weapon switched and I pull extra baddies with the #3 pistol attack lol. (forgetting names in a major way today)

But yes, I can confirm this seems to happen almost randomly. I just try to be very aware of my sounds as you can hear it switch.
