Epidemic seem to be passing conditions to team members with the latest patch. Can someone please look into it?

PS: this bug might be related to Master of Corruption trait. just tried epidemic without the trait and it seemed ok.

This skill is now a definitive team killer on boss fights.
Boss spawns minions. → Necro uses Epidemic → Half the Epidemic projectiles hit friendlies including the caster himself. Everybody dies under a metric ton of bleeding and burning.

its not a bug its a feature
just did fractal t4 + cm100 ..and i had a blast

sometimes i like being a little bit sardistic and.. blowing our druid up with ten condis tickign thousands of damage with no warnign gave the shickles every time.. sure i died quite often as well.. but i had more fun than on any prior run this past week..

pls.. let this in the game

also it does make sense i mean.. epedemics should affect everyone.. kinda?!
or thsoe with weak immunesystems.. who tend to be equally distributed between the teams…

sure it breaks the skill amkes it not useable for normal people.. but i will use it.. more than ever..

just imagien what kidn of mayham i coudl cause at bossfights… MUAHAHHAA

Any skill that transfers conditions like Deathly Swarm and Suffer used after an epidemic will transfer conditions to friendlies while they have the vulnerability or weakness caused by the epidemic on them. It will hit friendlies that pull the vul or weakness off the reaper and onto themselves.

Can confirm.
Whenever you cast a condition transfer right after spreading you instead get the conditions applied to you.

I mean it is funny now you can kill everyone you want too kill with a bit luck and epi i hope they don´t fix. Best feature ever really i love it its a bit kittenty but so funny.

Alright so if this is due to the transferring of conditions while you have the self inflicted conditions from epidemic, can we just hot fix epidemic to not have the self inflicted conditions until the issues are fixed?

At this point we have a broken skill combination in the game that can be detrimental to anyone playing the class and although Anet is fixing it and we appreciate that, the fact is that its left in there in this broken form and has been for hours now.

Pretty sure that changed for WvW a couple of patches ago, or at least something did, to avoid huge condition bombs from downed players. It might have leaded to the few down-state pve mobs too, if that is where you experienced it.
