I dont know if anyone else is getting this error but when I try and access the trading post since the Patch I get the following error.

net::ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED

not sure why this is but I have tried restarting the game and still get the same error, no one else I speak to has this error.

I get a crash when trying to sell things, either by right-clicking the item in my bag and selecting “Sell on Trading Post” or trying to view my bags in the Sell view of the Trading Post.

I crash when I try to buy /sell, click on the trading post tab…

Pretty much the same as above, crash out of the game whenever I try to access the TP by hotkey, icon or right click>sell/buy

Its not functioning at all for me. I can’t buy/sell anything (or even get the gold back from stuff I had for sale before the latest patch).

I also can’t access any of the 3 available tabs on the left hand side of the menu. No idea why…. rest of the game works fine except that. Your not alone Sianon!

Hope ANET is able to track down the cause of this and fix it cause its kinda frusterating!

Same here, it crash every time I open TP
it completely crash the game, and I need to relog my game

Hmm and thinking out loud I am sure I had cash left to pick up from tp, could this be the problem?

same crash for me (only tp not the game) @TP opening … other error report:

Tried turning off antivirus and firewall, still no luck

i keep getting the message net::err_aborted when i try and access the trading post

I just start a new character and I’m trying to buy runes and sigils, but everytime I try to type in the search box, the game crashes

thx … firewall fix works for my NAME_RESOLUTION_FAILED problem

As soon as i open the TP my game crashes I dont type anything, just as soon as i click it my game is gone

since the patch every time I look at BLTC the game crashes.

Another thought is the news part doesnt load when i am logging in also…. Now this would say to me that it is a firewall issue, but I have turned that and my antivirus off and still no luck

And ignore all of my posts, whilst i disabled my firewall, it was still running in task manager, so once I edited the rules to allow all activity for CoherentUI_Host it worked perfectly.

news at launcher an tp using same extra exe file (CoherentUI_Host.exe)

I am having the same problem except my login screen won’t even show up on my computer. It will say initializing and then just disappear. I saw on another post that I should grant access for the CoherentUI and I did, but it still won’t work.

“net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED” is what I get when using TP.

Got the issue too. Turning the firewall off resolved the issue.

I have same problem!!! when i open the TP it give me this: net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED, i put down the antivirus and i restart the computer..what i suppose to do now??

Same problem here since yesterday (after the patch), i tried all, turn off my antivirus and firewall, clean cache… alll…. and nothing….
Arena is not going to fix this?!?!?!?!?!

Do we know if/when this will be fixed? Or have a rough idea of how long it usually takes?

net::ERR_NAME_RESOLUTION_FAILED

I solved it after many tries. If you have a Antivirus-Programm with Firewall and Auto-Sandboxing try to turn those off. If those are the troublemakes add exception for the CoherentUI_Host.exe or best the whole GW2 folder and turn them on again.

To check this you just have to open the updater and log in (NOT START THE GAME), if you see the updatenotes in the window all is good if you have that loading circle in there you can’t access the tp.

Thanks that solved my problem.

I use Comodo Antivirus and by turning off it’s Auto-Sandbox did it for me. My Antivirus and Firewall are still intact. Its not A-Nets fault but the greasy slime that makes us run these security programs.

I have net::err_NAME_RESOLUTION_FAILED. How is it fixed?

I also had the “net:: ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED” error message when opening the trading post. Fixed now.
Disabling both my firewall and antivirus did nothing. My firewall had the CoherentUI_Host.exe file listed as allowed, however it wasn’t until I actually went into the GW2 folder and added the CoherentUI_Host.exe seeming again to my firewall list, giving me two identical file names in my firewall’s list that I saw the new copy was not allowed. Once I allowed this the tp worked for me again.

In summary: Even if CoherentUI_Host.exe is listed in your firewall, add it from the gw2 folder and make sure it is all allowed through.
