Guild Wars 2

I summited a bug report but I wonder if its me. So i start the story quest of Estate of Decay. I get past the first wave of enemies quite easily. When I enter the manor and see the opening scene of the purple dude talking it then has him walk away and i cannot follow after him. It glitches so i cannot open the door. I talk to all of the servants and even all of my allies but nothing happens. Did I do something or is this mission glitched?
