Evasive Arcana’s Cleansing Wave:

Works but never shows the animation.

However, if you dodge while in a water field (Healing Rain, Geyser), the animation and heal will work, BUT:
1) The 10 second cooldown no longer applies, you heal with EVERY dodge.
2) You do not need to be attuned to water for the heal + animation to work. Meaning you can effectively cast 2 spells at a time with one dodge.
3) 10 Second cooldown still applies to other attunement’s spells.

What I just mentioned above only works if you have the trait on.

PS.
Anet, if you fix this, please don’t just fix the exploit. It’s hard to see if the dodge worked without the animation when you’re saving an ally. In turn, it also makes it harder to time the 10 second CD.

Can you provide the weapon type you are seeing the animation not working on as well as the name of the weapon you are using.

I’m using a staff, my staff is the Cleric’s Pearl Quarterstaff with a Superior Sigil of Water.

I was curious if it’s the sigil causing the problem, it isn’t. I tried putting on a regular staff to see if the animation would work, same thing.

Also, when I say “When I put on the dagger”. I meant that you get access to the spell itself when you put on a dagger, and directly casting would let the animation show.
