Hello to all. I dont know is there some topic with same issue,so I will open this one.
Last night after playing some dungeons I decide to buy exotic from dungeon vendor.
I was browsing items,prewiev them etc.
Since there is 3 sets for every profession its a lot of items inside,icons are similar with others and only difference is the name of items.
Ok after browsing items I click BUY and gues what: “The Item that I buy its not for my profession”.
I was think ok,I will refound it at Vendor but then: “There is no Refound option at Vendor”?
So,my question is why there is no Refound option at Vendor?
If there is some cool reason why Refound option shouldnt be there please can someone tell me how its possible to buy piece of armor that is not suitable for your profession.
I think that I will get some support from other players about this issue.
I will show you how bad I feel when I open my bag and see this:

I don’t understand why we can even see armor that we cannot wear at vendors. It clutters the interface and forces you to search for your specific items. The same goes for weapons. Karma vendors are especially confusing because they have so many different types of items (amulets/weapons/armor).

In GW1 you couldn’t see armor from other professions. I don’t understand why you can now.

My personal opinion: I like seeing other types of armor as well, especially when figuring what my alts may or may not wear in the future. I like checking how the armor would look, if I were some other profession.

Regarding refund, it’s a so-so. If you pay attention, you would never stumble upon this issue. The tooltips are informative, set pieces of one type have similar icons, which usually differ from other armor types.

Easy way, don’t rush it. You’ve worked hard for the tokens, double-check what you want to get for them.

And I think it’s more of a suggestion-type-of-topic.

I still dont know what to do with that item,I dont wanna to salvage it and ANet need like 10 days to respond .

Regardless if you want to see the other types of armor or not the simple solution is to put a check box in the sell window “Only show useable”. Problem solved.
