I don’t know if it is supposed to work like this, but you can complete Experience without Death, all you have to do is get the required experience in just one zone, if you use a waypoint or a portal to move from a zone to an other then the bar resets.

I think this thing is incredibly bugged… but also, it always shows the highest amount of xp you have had for this achievement, e.g. you accumulated 40,000 xp until you died, then you have to accumulate 40,000 xp and then it will start to count again – which is kind of irritating.
This is ridiculous, if theyre going to put stipulations on the achievement at least make them known. Dont let people sit there for 2+ hours farming to get the **** achieve just to be stopped by some random exception they decided to put in.
Natsos is correct – if you stay in the same zone (don’t teleport, as that seems to reset it as well) you can get the achievement. I hope they fix it to next month though.
In the original GW, you could use /deaths to check on your current xp since dying, but it doesn’t work in GW2. It would certainly be helpful if the progress bar simply reset.

Given the sheer amount of things that can halt the achievement, it appears more that it is extremely
bugged as opposed to how the achievement is designed.
It certainly needs altering anyway, given that in the achievements list there is a earn 200k one as well, and that’s just for the first tier…

thanks for all the replies and answers fellow Guild Warriors. Having to get 100k exp in the same map without warping or being able to leave the map is torturous for low lvl players,not fun at all _
