Exploiting in southsun survival
I second this. I believe the problem lies in the fact that a single application of the Immobilized condition is being used as the sole way to prevent players from starting the game before The Voice of Evon Gnashblade gives the signal.
Suggestions:
- Reapply the Immobilized condition every second, until the starting signal.
- Give players Invulnerability until the starting signal.
- Drain everybody’s endurance upon entering the instance, so they can’t dodge out of the inflicting of Immobilize.
- Instead of immobilizing players, create a single pen where all players start, and have the doors open upon the starting signal. Of course, leave no items inside the pen, and put the large campfire with all the items around it in plain view of the gate when it opens.
It’s not so much an exploit as a bug. A recent update made it so that when the match countdown finishes, the Immobilized condition is removed for about 5 or so seconds before it kicks in again. I’ve reported it as a bug already here:
But more reports are always helpful.
In the meantime, join the massacre and take advantage of it to build up your kill achievement. Getting killed at the start is actually also a semi-advantage as it may place you far from the group, allowing you to get a headstart on gathering supplies and then retreating to a safe location to wait things out.
