It’s not just me. In Lion’s Arch and in several dragon events tonight (since the daily/monthly rollover) I’m getting incredible lag, and many people are reporting the same in map chat. Extremely bad culling in PvE and PvP and sound issues too.

It’s also impossible to sell anything on the Trading Post as well. It doesn’t recognize anything in your bags.

Same on dragonbrand. Everything grinds to a near-halt. The dragons themselves don’t even go through their animations, and everyone is experiencing a lag in their attacks, to the point that it takes several seconds for an attack to register (and the adrenaline on a warrior highlights this attack speed issue) and most special attacks (2 – 5) take several attempts to register with the server. I was just attempting to fight Tequatl and near the end it completely hung and I lost connection. Of course, by the time I can get back, I manage one hit and no chest, no reward.
