Guild Wars 2

I logged into my guardian the other day and I tried to play some WvW then i got attacked by a zerg and pressed F2 and F3 to try and heal and use aegis to survive but when I pressed them it made my character walk and brought up my friendslist.

Many of you will probably just say my key bindings are messed up, however, I reset them to default and the problem still occurs.
This makes it practically impossible to play guardian and elementalist effectively without pressing them with my mouse which is just purely annoying.

Any suggestions on what i can do to fix this?

*I also opened a notepad and tried using f2 and f3 to see if it did anything but it didn’t so its not my keyboard that has the issue

And your keyboard doesn’t have a modular Function key or anything that changes what the F keys do?

To confirm that your skills are functioning correctly (as I’m guardian prime and haven’t had this issue) – bind any other skill – so let’s say your number 7 to F2 and your number 8 to F3 and assign shouts to those skills. A single press should verify that all hardware and in-game software are functioning accurately and not a user error.

Meaning: if you press F2 your number 7 skill should activate – being a shout
