Lately I’ve been getting a lot of ruined ore chunk, ruined logs, and ruined herbs from farming, even when using the necessary tools.

Earlier I got a ruined log from a tree that normally gives elder wood logs, while using an orichalcum axe.

Were you attacked or being hit while harvesting? This can screw up the harvest and ruin your goodies

Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

It’s only been recently though. I used to be able to harvest while being attacked and would never have this issue.

When you harvest between attacks its fine, but when you are hit at the very same moment you get ruined stuff. I think this is intended and not a bug.

Let me a bit more clear about this.

I have farmed in every situation you could imagine. In combat mode, not in combat mode. Being attacked, being chased, being stunned/pulled/slowed/whatever. This is an issue that has only recently began to happen.

Futhermore it happens even when I’m not being attacked. Just now I went to mine some orichalcum in the EB jump puzzle, and got a ruined ore despite using an orichalcum pick and not being attacked. I can say 100% that this is not an issue with being attacked while farming.
