Guild Wars 2

The Seaside Propagation location of Fertile Soil is still bugged for me. I have 2 more days of hearts before I have my Runestones, so I haven’t opened a ticket yet. I keep hoping a patch or a reset will shake it loose before I have to.

Details – It’s def that location. I’ve never put a seed there. I only ever get the ‘If only I had something suitable to plant here’ dialogue. I currently have 16 seeds in my inventory. I’ve checked via the wiki and reddit to make sure I didn’t mix up locations. I also watched a video on the locations to make sure I’ve been to them all. I do not have the achievement. A Primordial Orchid appears there for me as if I have done that location. I can harvest that Orchid. I’ve tried planting on multiple toons. I’ve tried splitting my seeds so I have a single one to give.

Likely unrelated – The toon I was doing the backpack on has had the Cat’s Shadow buff for like a week now.

Does anyone know anything I could try to do to de-bug this myself? It’s not a huge deal for another 48 hours, but I’d really like to sort this sooner if I can.

If I am missing something obvious I will feel very silly.

You could try a -repair of the client, in case of corrupted file(s).

I have now repaired! Thanks for the info. Sadly, collection is still buggy for me.

Khisanth, it’s the Seaside Ledges Propagation one that will not work for me. It’s shown as not done in my collection and I have never been able to plant a seed there.

Sorry you’re still having trouble

Could you show a screenshot of you in the location, with the mini map visible and the achievement panel open (or two screenshots if that’s easier)?

It might help us pinpoint something that you’re not seeing or it might suggest a new thing to try.

Inculpatus, thanks. I’ve gone and done so. I was going to wait until Runestones are done, but it’s almost the weekend. I can finish on Saturday if they are able to get to my ticket tomorrow. Here’s hoping.

Edit: Right after I sent a ticket I poked at it again and it worked >.<
I updated my ticket appropriately. Glad it’s all set at least/

Do you see why I asked you which one you are having a problem with? Both of those are in the collection but they are at different locations. One of them was one of the previously broken ones that were disabled. Are you sure you actually went to the correct location? I know I messed up with these two when I was doing it.
