So today we got daily events in Fields of Ruin
When I went there, I immideatly saw an event pop up, I went there, and all I saw
was the star icon on the minimap.. nothing happened, no event jumped up, there
was nothing there at all. Alas, it prevented me from seeing other events in the
vicinity. So I went to another random point, until I got a new event marker. This
time again, a blind marker in the middle of nowhere with no event. Eventually I
found 1 event, and thereafter, 3 more blind markers.. I give up..
It’s impossible to find events when ever area has an event marker up without any
active events.

Suggestion: show all events on the map.. like, is there even a reason not to? or have a hover over icon that will show all events

Those are from the rifts. You need a rift stabilizer to trigger the actual event to start.

well, whatever they’re from, they’re preventing me from seeing actual events

They are great events! So easy, and only take a few seconds to complete. Using a Rift Stabilizer to complete Daily Events is the way to go. I highly recommend it.

Good luck.

They are “actual events”, you just don’t know how to do them.

I’m not certain this was the right design choice on anet’s part, but ultimately, “I don’t know how to do X” is not the same as “X is buggy”
