Finishing People in PvP
Had a match like that yesterday. The ranger was stomped three times by a teammate but not finished. Then we noticed his pet was about 200 units away and reviving him. So it was some sort of lag with the game desynced as to his actual location. Unfortunately his pet revived him and he downed one of us due to this bug.

To clarify… When you stomp someone that has desynced and aren’t where they appear to be, no finisher is actually played when you complete the stomp channel. Is this what is happening Vala Numea? Or is it fully playing the finisher and still not actually finishing them?
Banishing someone that is downed is notorious for causing the issue Chaba describes.
Edit: so is downing them as they hit a leap skill.

I’ve had this happen as well. Stomp three times and failed. Things like that can lose you a game.
That bugs happend last nite to us. We lost a match beacuse of that. We couldt finish a guy. Just me i tried stomp 2 times and my teammates tried 1 times but we couldnt successed. And then their temmates came push back us revived him. Also i cant intrupt them while they finishin when they have no aegis, stability or other blockin skills.
i noticed this when it clearly wasnt body lag (if you have a range attack, esp like tempest scepter auto it will go to where a player’s body actually is when they’re lagged so you can dps the empty air spot and kill them)
turns out you have to specifically target the downed player to complete the stomp—for me at least. ive noticed this the past week or two and whether its a bug or new mechanic i have no idea b/c i pretarget my next enemy when i stomp by instinct and its causing me to lose a lot of fights z_z

Good point. Just the animation where your character jumps in the air is played but not the customizable finisher afterwards. Sorry for formulating this a bit sloppy.
