First lines of personal story cutscenes have no voice
Do you play an Asura? I Had this happening to me last night when I created a Asura and part of the dialogue was muted, also it’s not like if only the sound is muted the, NPC talking just remains there performing the idle animation.
Sometimes it’s necessary listening to the silence, it could tell more..
At least 60% of all early Statics line vocals are missing right now. I decided to start my necro Asura’s story today and it was mostly rather crickets chirping.

I am experiencing this issue as a Norn. It appears to occur the first time a character talks.
I am having the same problem except it only seems limited to the Sylvari for me, even when out of the starting area Scouts remain silent also, this is only happening on a newly created character.
Yes it is during most of the Asura quests.

For narrowing purposes, I will add that my Asura has existed for something like 2 weeks, though she isn’t very high level as i’ve only played her a couple times. She just didn’t start her story before today.
