In doing the Fixing The Blame storyline, the map directs me to Gendarran Fields, to a portal that is surrounded by a fence and cannot be accessed. Looked up the correct location and heading that way. Can the map be corrected, or the marker where the portal is removed until the port is accessable?

Unfortunately, the system that tries to find the shortest route from on map to another doesn’t know which asura gates are accessible, and which aren’t. Was there a guard NPC that you could talk to get past the fence?

When you speak with the gate guard, he responds that the area is under construction and to try again later.

If that portal is the one near/at the Vigil Keep, it is trying to let you take it to Fort Trinity on the way to Mount Malestrom, I would guess.

I get green swirly marks all over the maps in odd places, I’m not sure why. I just did level 10 Sylvari one, and there was a green swirly halfway down the map between me (in Calendon) and The Grove. No idea why as the only portal into the Grove in Caledon Forest is, well, at The Grove. Lol.

You won’t be able to take that asura gate until after a later step in the personal story. For now just ignore the green swirly thing and head back to Fort Trinity using a WP.
