After 3 patches my game still gets to a point whilst loading (always after the world selection screen) and then freezes with a flashing screen. It actually had the rather dubious distinction this morning of being the first piece of software ever to cause a hard crash on my I5 4590 R9 270X win7 pc in several months hard gaming use,, impressed.
Enough of the sarcasm.
I found somewhere how to start the game in windowed mode via a modified shortcut and it works ok, albeit with fps reduced by at least 10 per second. Interestingly I can change to full screen mode whilst in game and the fps seem to go back somewhere near to pre patch average. Everything is fine until I try to change areas,, flashing screen and freeze again.
