Floating damage indicator/log conflict
That is just a display bug. It is summing up all the hits from channeled skills continuously. It is supposed to restart with each sequence. It has always shown the total for channeled skills. The combat log shows the individual hits.
I noticed it right after the feature patch. There have already been many posts about this. It has always added each hit, but it’s supposed to restart the count every ‘cycle’ of the channeled skill but currently is not.
A worse issue is that it will now do no damage at all at times.
