Guild Wars 2

Hi guys,

I managed to complete this adventure in exactly 2 minutes, which is the time limit for getting gold, however I don’t have the achievement completed in the relevant section. Is it possible for someone to change it so the achievement is complete because I died a little on the inside and have no motivation to try again

Fairly sure you have beat 2:00 , not get it, happened to me on 2 different adventures. 1:59 or less for gold.

Ah well, hope is dead then.

It may say 2:00, but the game might be rounding your real time of 2:00:01 or something to make it look like 2:00. So the game still thinks you’re over. If you do not have advanced gliding yet, then hold off until you do and it will be a lot easier. If you do have advanced gliding, aim for those floating yellow thingies that are inside the rings (and sometimes elsewhere in mid-air) and they give you a speed boost while flying.

Did you use the ‘shortcut’ to get it? That makes it much easier and can easily get under the time, and as above, advanced gliding makes it easier, although isn’t needed to get silver afaik. Might be basically required to get gold though I’m not sure. Might be worth it to have a look at youtube.
