Foefire has a unique unsheathing effect as shown in the below video:

When the foefire skin is used on another weapon the new weapon does not inherit this effect.

This will only be an issue to about the 10 or so other people who own Foefire’s essense, so I’m not exactly holding out on this ever being fixed.. but I thought I’d bring it to attention given it’s one the things I like about the sword.

other 10? lol. Many have Foefire’s Essence. I’ve had it for over a year and worked hard to get it on Guardian. I have not transmuted it though. I was mad when they kinda ‘nerfed’ it’s effects right after I got it. I do need to make an ascended and skin it but haven’t done so yet. This discourages that :/

Are you sure? I just tested it on my level 67 guard, and the rare weapon I have skinned with foefire does indeed have the unsheath effect. Same with my ranger.

Having revisited this today, it’s working as intended, the sheathing effect happens on transmuted weapons.. last night it was 100% not working.. I don’t really know what’s up.. Safe to say I’m wrong!

It wasn’t skinned on an AC weapon was it?
