Q:

Is anyone else having this issue? I Have done the LONG mission Frozen out 3 times now and every time i get to the end and defeat the Minotaur boss it force disconnects me during the talk with braum. I need this mission completed and i would like to not have to do it 5 more times for it to work. Can some one please help me?

FYI: Moderators don’t usually have answers or ‘fixes’ to technical questions, or other questions about the game. That would be the Devs or the QA Team. If you have an issue with moderation, you can send an email to forums@arena.net

For an individualized response to your game issue, you can contact the Tech CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Ticket’ for assistance.

Good luck.

I’d try the following Lunarian: turn all your graphics settings to minimum (and consider using a smaller resolution). If that doesn’t work, have someone else run the mission for you (and you just leech), with your screen powered off until you need to accept your reward.

Simultaneously start a support ticket and work with ANet to resolve this:

The possibilities are:

  • There’s a bug in the game, and graphics issues tend be difficult to track down, so they usually don’t get fixed quickly.
  • There’s an issue with your graphics card, memory, or something else that’s equally difficult to track down (since it’s not happening all the time).

Either way, it would mean waiting for a fix, which is why I recommend trying some extreme work-arounds that have sometimes proven successful for others.

Video games and especially sometimes cutscenes can really wig out graphics in a way that they don’t experience most of the time (even in the same video game or other, more graphic-intensive ones).

Good luck & please keep us posted on what you discover.
