Guild Wars 2

I’ve played through it three times and get stuck after defeating the Undead Scout.

The wiki says: “The mission will bug if you kill the Undead Scout before completing previous objectives (”Defeat the undead." should be the only active objective)." but this makes no difference. Nothing happens after the Undead Scout and his Risen shark buddy are defeated.

I assume this is a bug, but I might be missing something. Knowing me, the latter is a likely possibility.

I actually just finished this story step a few days ago and didn’t have a problem. I wound up running by the first circle without doing that objective…but when I noticed it I was already swimming down and killing the drake and didn’t feel like going back. Then when I got to the scout the first objective I glossed over changed to “complete” and I finished it out. If you’re on this evening after I get home I can do the instance with you and see if we can get yours to complete.

Same thing just happened to me

Wow. I just rushed through it this time not worrying about the other objectives (doing the exact opposite of what the wiki told me to do) and that did the trick. Thanks for the tip!

So yea, I’ve now tried everything I could find on different forum topics about this. Done the story 8 times now. Rushing it, taking my time, even doing it with someone else. Restarting the game didn’t work either. The problem I have is that “defeat the undead” part doesn’t complete after I’ve killed the undead.
Just thought to let the people know my story.

Yeah the rushing didn’t work for me wither. I guess a patch will be hitting us soon. :S
