Guild Wars 2

I’v Done this quest 3 times now and every single time near the end or half way through the game Disconnects to character screen this happens with my g/f as well. We are on the same line quest and have been trying to complete this one but it just wont let us! when we log back on it makes us restart the quest from the beginning!

Same thing has happen to me, everytime i try to do Forging the Pact the game will start freezing or cutting off until im drop out of the server. It has only happen during forging the pact and nowhere else so i dont think its my internet or my computer.

I am having this same issue with Forging the Pact. No other part of the game has this issue, but I get constant freezing and then drop-out before I can complete this quest.

Given it is a very long quest, this is highly aggravating.

Same problem here. Really frustrating, it’s such a long quest and you have to start ALL OVER AGAIN. Unacceptable, it’s been bugging for months.

Anyone found a solution to this? I would like to finish my storyline…

This keeps on happening to me, too. The first time, I figured it was just my internet. The subsequent times…yeah.

It’s a long quest, and I shouldn’t have to continue redoing it until I get lucky enough not to DC in the middle. This is the first really irritating bug I’ve found. Sigh.

Although I haven’t had to do this quest any time recently, I HAVE completed it 5 times across different characters…. 5 completions and about 12 attempts. I have had to re-do this mission at least once every time I’ve played through story on a character…. true, not EVERY time the restart was related to guild wars errors (say Windows Update decides it would be a good idea to restart the computer without asking or something) but this has got to be one of my least favorite personal story missions, simple because I have done it so many times. It is long, it is lame, and the fact that you start it just with that gut feeling that you are going to have to restart it makes you hate every bit of useless dialogue.

I have had this same issue. I’ve struggled through this story five times and it has crashed every time just like every one above had discribed. Its kitten me off. This needs to be fixed asap.
