Did anyone have any issues with the Forsaken Thicket Mastery?

I just killed Vale Guardian for the first time and got the rewards for it including gift of insight. But the Mastery still says “Enter Forsaken Thicket in Verdant Brink and defeat a boss to unlock.”

Anyone has a way past that? Anyone can help?

this just happened to me. killed VG and no unlock

Had the opposite happen. I don’t play raids but I do help a friend with escorting Glenna in wing 3. Normally that doesn’t count to unlock the mastery track – but today it unlocked for me.

I thought maybe they patched it so that the escort counted, but maybe it’s bugged to where some flag got switched between the escort and VG?

I killed VG a few days ago for the first time and mastery unlocked for me. Whatever bug is affecting those 2, it didn’t switch them at least.
