It’s not a game bug, but… it makes it impossible to see if someone’s submitted a bug here already. No matter what you enter in the search box, it finds nothing.

But the title is 45 characters max. Why does it let me enter more than 45 characters?

It was like this when I first started playing and it will probably be like this when I stop platying, in other words it’s been broken forever. As a nice work around I tend to use google, for example:

why is this broken again site:https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu

Into google will get you some results.

Yeah… I should have searched for that. BUT OH WAIT.

Maybe if ANet reads this forum they’ll move or delete it, I’m fine either way.

I use google search for the forums (and imo, that works better than the search functions on 90% of all websites; it’s just not just the GW2 forums that have trouble with this feature).

append or prepend any google (or bing) search with: site:forum-en-guildwars2.com — that restricts the search to this site. It has the added advantage that, on the rare occasions this site is unavailable, you can also read cached versions of posts.
