my friend and i did a level 20 fractal today. I opened the instance and rolled for swamp, after a couple tried, i couldn’t get swamp and so i told my friend to rolled for me while i go afk. He went into the fractal and i went out to Gendarran Field, we did not open a new instance. However, when we did the 3rd fractal, my friend decided that we need more support and so he went to switch character, thus we all got kicked out. Is he rolling made him the instance opener now? Because we did this before where i opened the instance and he rolled for swamp, but this is the first time it kick us out when he switching.

It is kind of funky and depends how you do it. If you open the instance and he joins you …then you back out of the instance and he is still inside you will be the instance owner… However If you open the instance then back out then he goes into the instance it will now be his because no one was inside when he joined.

i was still inside when he went in, so i’m not sure what’s up with this
