A friend of mine with whom I’ve been running fractals a lot those days is facing a weird issue: we both run a lvl 39 fractal and we properly get the reward chest but when we both run a lvl 42 fractal then I’m the only one to get the reward chest, she doesn’t get hers.

She’s been facing that problem for a couple of weeks already and get depressed of spending so much time on fractal without being rewarded properly.

Her fractal lvl was 40 after the lvl 39 run and now she is lvl 41. Here’s the other standard information we should communicate.

-Server: Mer De Jade (FR)
-Map/location: Fractal of the mist
-Character info(level, race, profession): Level 80 sylvari ranger (lvl 41 fractal)
-How to reproduce issue: Totally random
+ A screenshot or video link: I’ll ask her to fill in another report the next time the problem occurs from the fractal and to take the appropriate screenshot though seeing nothing as the reward chest doesn’t appear won’t help I guess.

NB: I guess I should mention it but we are running the whole fractal not just a last boss thing.

This issue might be because normally you can’t get a reward chest if you’ve done your own max level for the day.

For example, I would be at personal level 25(just for the example).
I can do level 1-9 and get a reward, I can do level 11-19 and get a reward, and I can do level 21-29 and get a reward; But, if I go for anything higher such as 39 or 49 I won’t get another chest even tho it’s on a different tier.

To be fair that is what I think is the problem, and especially because she was at personal reward level 40, which is kind of the middle point of the two tiers you guys were running (31-40 and 41-50).

(FYI, I did have a bug as well with fractals a few days ago, so who knows, it might even be a legit bug that your friend had encountered…)

Thank you for that answer, at least we get a hint on what might have happened.

We will run that again tonite I guess and check what happens but if your theory is right she should now have unlocked all the fractal tiers so she should get the rewards she expects.
