The part “Herded Young Beetles” does not complete nor give event completion status.
I’ve tried killing nearby Zintl, herding more than 50% of beetles while in frog form and it still does not give any credit.

My wife and I have ran this event at least 20 times, we have duoed it a few times also and I just got credit 2 days ago. She hasn’t gotten credit yet and it’s getting frustrating.

This is affecting me as well. I contacted support and got this reply:

Alright, It seems to be afecting other players as well. if you look a this thread on the forum (link to this thread removed). Other people have done by trying several times although it may require a lot of work. =P

I’ll pass this information along to our devs, but I cannot give you any estimated time for a fix, all I can tell you is that we’ll work on that and it will be fixed.

This is still a bug, I just participated in the whole run, only two of us herded beetles and Neither of us got credit.

Did this part solo and did not count. Got Award think silver, and moved to the next part of the mission….
“Fed Mushrooms to Beetles” Which did complete, and correctly award credit.

This is the only one now need for this Master Point Award….

Just did the whole chain up to here……………… NO Go… on “Herd Young Beetles”
being counted under “Friend of the Frogs” still at 5/6…

Tryed it solo, done. Opened up the follow up “Fed Mushrooms to Beetles”

Tryed it few minutes ago with group , still no credit for the achievement which is sitting at 5/6 and no MP.

OOOPs,,, think it’s broken.

Nothing? Anyone got a fix other than doing this over and over and over and over…. which does not seem to work at the moment…

Bug report? is this even looked at since doesn’t seem to be any email/follow-ups/responses

GOT IT: Tryed each character, and the Ranger got the quest completed. No idea why the others did not. Maybe they lacked one piece:

This needs a look at though it seems a bit bugged when there is no way to see each characters run through the missions, if that had something to do with it or not, to verify characters progress apposed to account wide.

Also bugged for me. Tried now 3 times the complete event chain still nothing.
Anet, pls fix this or give us better instructions what to do!

Still bugged 5/7/2016 as a guardian. I was able to get event credit but was not able to get achievement credit. It is possible that the whole chain is bugged for me because I do not remember doing all the events, even the ones I had credit for.

Broken for me as well. Can’t seem to get it to trigger no matter how many times I do the quest.

Well, you gotta remember this: whatever is wrong, it’s not as simple as “it’s broken all the time for everyone.”

I did completion on those achievements just a month back, and had no trouble. So, clearly there is some difference between what I did and/or my account, and yours, because I absolutely believe you didn’t get credit when you should.

The problem is, I have no idea what the difference is and … sadly, it’s highly likely that the anet team don’t either. Which means they can’t figure out why it’s broken, so they can’t fix it.

Which sucks, no question.

Things never “just get fixed.” It takes considerable research to discover why one person (or a few persons) don’t get credit while many (or most) others do.

If you really want this fixed, help ANet to help you by providing them with as many relevant details as possible. For example:

• Time|date
• Were you in a party/squad or not?
• IP address of the map.
• The status of the event when you started
• What you did during the event.
• Did your character die during the event? If so, did someone rez you or did you WP and walk back?

Without those details, it’s hard for ANet to identify the issue(s) that might be preventing progress.
