Guild Wars 2

I came to this game with about 2 RL friends who are on multiple characters.

I set their “nicknames”, yet I find their nick names always disappear and keep resetting?

To top that off, I have several people on my friends list that I met through the game, that just have their names set to […] […] either when online or offline, their account name/# (userid.####) also doesn’t show.

I don’t know what’s going on, but this has been there since day 1, when can we expect a fix? it’s not even listed in known issues!!!!

when i set nicknames for players in my friendlist, they get deleted every other day. i have the feeling it happens when there is a new build of gw2. already was the same in beta.

Yep I’ve been getting this also, and with 350+ people on my contact list it’s incredibly time consuming having to go through them all and re-enter their nicknames.

I’m also experiencing this bug.

It’s not game breaking, but it’s sure irritating.

I too am experiencing this bug, it’s quite annoying when you have a large friends list.

this issue does not seem to get any attention…

theres been multiple posts about it now without any reply or fix

for me it has been happening since the nightly patch 3 days ago now, starting to get slightly aggravated

no reply???

starting to move from slightly annoyed to really annoyed with this issue/bug

every time theres a patch im hoping its fixed, but nope….sigh

strangely enough it only happens to 2 ppl on my friends list/in my guild

still not fixed after tonights update…sigh

Yep, I’m having this issue as well. I’ve nicknamed my friends multiple times and they always get wiped. I renamed them last night bf the update and they are gone again this morning.
