GUI in eyefinity mode is incorrect
is there no fix for this at all?? a setting i might be missing?
I can’t even get the game to start up anymore. It started up the first time, I changed to max settings, and then selected Super Sampling and the program ate it’s shorts. I haven’t been able to get it functioning yet. I got it to start once, but I couldn’t change the settings from the hideous 1024×768 it randomly chose without it crashing. And since there is no readily editable INI file to manually set it, I can’t play the game until they patch it properly (who knows when that will happen, doesn’t appear to be soon from the quiet in the forums). So unless I want to redownload the whole 17GB thing and reinstall from scratch I am boned. And I am pretty sure my ISP wouldn’t like me redownloading all that any more than I want to go through the hassle of it. I wish we could get proper Eyefinity support. I don’t know if I would’ve bought the game if I knew Eyefinity support was so broken. It’s just really disappointing.
Well the smart kitten comment is always the first that comes to mind when 2 things are true.
1.) Someone complains about something not working and they own a Mac.
2.) Someone complains about something not working and they own an AMD/ATI Card.
Solutions to 1 & 2 are Nvidia and Intel. Period.

It’s a must if you’re gaming with triple monitors. You’ll find there are a million things you did not know.
This will solve your issue.
Game doesn’t even launch when I use FWS program. I’m having the same issue as the OP. What drivers are you running ?

From a few weeks back:
Fixes included in the build tomorrow (and I’m not sure if there are release notes):
- UI placement is now semi customizable for surround/eyefinity users.
- Start the client up using “-uispanallmonitors” to have the UI spread across all monitors. We may make this a graphics option in the future (I made it an argument passed to the game so we could get this out asap)
- UI scaling is now fixed for surround/eyefinity users

To fix the UI so that it doesn’t show on the wrong screen, you must set your center monitor as your “Primary Display”. There was supported added for AMD Gpus, which enabled multi-monitor support that has been there all along to kick in, which condenses the game UI onto the center screen so you don’t need to turn your head constantly.
