Guild Wars 2

One of the latest updates to Gw2.exe seems to have broken the Windows Games Explorer link for Guild Wars 2. The icon is still present, but no information is displayed and the game cannot be launched.

Restoring an older copy of Gw2.exe remedies the issue (which I can’t use to play, of course), and leads me to believe this is a problem somewhere in the game file.

Surely, I’m not the only one having this issue? (yes, I know I can make shortcuts the old fashioned way).

Having the same issue. I believe it occurred after April’s update. After uninstalling/reinstalling the game, no shortcut appeared in the Windows Games Explorer at all, and no registry key was created under …\GameUX\Games. Regular start menu shortcuts are working fine though. Running the -repair switch didn’t solve anything.
I’m using Windows 7 64-bit with administrative rights.
