Q:

Hello, I’ve been having random black screens during game play and was wondering if there could be any possible bugs. I’m usually getting black screen during WvW/Dungeons, but I’ve also had some in Lion’s Arch (AFK). I’ve tried numerous solutions and nothing seems to work for me, it’s really getting on my nerves! Help would be greatly appreciated. I’m convinced it’s a bug within my game considering I haven’t had any problems with other games. Although my temperatures according to
CPUID Hardware monitor can fluctuate between 70-83 degrees Celsius, while playing GW2.

Here are some things I’ve tried to prevent black screening…
- Updated NVIDIA drivers.
- Uninstalled NVIDIA drivers + re-installed NVIDIA drivers.
- Uninstalled + re-installed Guild Wars 2.
- Also, low graphic settings are always on, which doesn’t stop black screens.

I am experiencing exactly the same issue. At first it starts with random quick screen freezes and then you get 1 or 2 second blank screens. Once I wasn’t even able to get back to game.

Updated Windows 7 and the NVIDIA drivers before posting this and checked the issue was still going on.
