I tried out GW2 on a Windows 8 tablet with a high-resolution screen just to see how it ran, and noticed that because the tablet is running in 150% DPI (the setting under Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display; can get to it via “Make text and other items larger and smaller” in the Screen Resolution dialog), some things seem to be behaving awkwardly.
Obviously the workaround is to reduce the DPI scaling to 100%, but as these sorts of high pixel density screens become more common it might be nice not to have to do that
This happens to me too, on the Microsoft Surface Pro. I’ve tried using the compatibility settings to disable scaling at high DPIs, but it doesn’t have any effect. It’s too bad, because other than this GW2 runs great, considering it’s just integrated video.
