Guild Wars 2

Hi,

While the game is minimized, GW2.exe seems to use same amount of CPU as the game is in full screen. On my machine between 30-60 % of CPU.

It looks the rendering engine is still running.

Other games client (ex : Diablo III, Neverwinter…) does not use this amount of CPU while minimized.

GW2 is, and probably always will be, really CPU heavy. Dunno if they can change this at this point. I think it’s hardcoded into the engine.

I don’t think it is the rendering engine. GPU load drops to 0% while minimized(from fullscreen).
