GW2 using 2.8 mil K of memory in WvW
I’ve been having issues with GW2 using massive amounts of memory. Previously I’d see 1.8 mil to 2 mil K; now I get close to 3 mil and then GW2 crashes and locks up my entire computer. Seems only really bad in EBG.

Work with customer service on that — it’s likely a combination of things that are unrelated to GW2 interfering with a minor aspect of the game.
In the meantime, try starting the game without any other software running, including browsers. If that resolves it, try launching the programs you usually have running, one at a time, while in WvW, and monitor the memory.
FYI some anti-malware programs have been known to eat memory (and sometimes cause other software to do so) for some people — it won’t happen to everyone. If you can easily swap to a different program, that’s also worth trying in my opinion.
