The amount of the stat gained per kill as shown on the hero UI doesn’t match the amount listed in the sigil’s tooltip text. I get about 1/2 the expected amount. I don’t know where this problem is: incorrect sigil bonus, hero UI incorrectly displaying the bonus, or wrong sigil tooltip text.

Details:

I’ve tested the issue with the Minor Sigil of Bloodlust (5 power/kill)(on a lvl30 warrior’s mainhand axe) and Major Sigil of Perception (7 precision/kill)(on a lvl45 ranger’s longbow).

In the attached pic, my ranger has the +7 precision sigil on his bow, above the skills you can see I have 20 stacks which should yield +140 precision. The hero UI shows only +80. So instead of +7/kill I’m getting +4/kill. On another character I tested the +5 power/kill sigil (on mainhand axe) and saw the same behavior getting +2/kill. In both cases I’m getting about 1/2 the amount stated in the tooltip text.

update:

today (9/20):

my ranger is now seeing +5/kill (was +4, supposed to be +7). difference between then and now: ranger is 48, and I moved that sigil from my old bow to a new one.

due to the above, I retested my warrior and it didn’t change – still at +2/kill (supposed to be +5).

I’ve tested and verified this issue on 5 characters of differing levels and 5 different classes. Members of my guild have also tested and they see the same thing.

Can we get an official response about this?

I’d like to pick some superior sigils for my final gear, and it’ll hinge on whether this is going to change to match the description or if the description will change to match the current behaviour.

Bump. This is still happening, I can use a Minor Sigil of Bloodlust and stack it to 25 stacks, but it only yields 50 power in total. Instead of the listed 125.
