Hi! My issue is 2-fold.

1: Is the use of a program such as Game Booster OK? (would think it would be since it doesnt do anything (i dont think?) to the game itself)

2: 2 patches ago the game started to give me “error report” everytime I close the game if it was launched using Game Booster. Why? How do I stop it?

For those of you that don’t know, Game Booster is just a free program that optimizes your system with the push of a button and launches the game of your choosing, when you are done playing and close the game the booster puts everything back the way it was. This should not be affecting the game in anyway, only optimizing your system for better performance.

Uh…as a techy, unless many things are going on in your system at once, optimization programs should work as a one-time thing. It optimizes your computer, and done. Unless that program tampers with caching/memory allocation/cpu allocation, I doubt it’s needed to play the game. But even so, it can all be done manually or with any other program before opening the client. It shouldn’t need to run in the background.

I didnt say it couldnt be done manually. This makes it easier. And undoes all of it when the game is finished. Why would you not want to take the tediousness out of it?

Well, if you want to continue using it, the only thing I could suggest is check which ports it’s using. If ports conflict, it could cause the game to not load. Other than that, I guess troubleshoot. Good luck though~

I have no problems playing the game using Game Booster 3. I haven’t tampered with the program’s ports and such, only removed one option that wouldn’t allow me to use the printer while on “Gaming mode”.

All this program does is close processes and applications that you wouldn’t normally use while playing a game, freeing resources and RAM.
