I purchased the Grandmaster Training Manual around level 50, but now that I am 60 I cannot use it. I do not have the gold to repurchase the training manual, nor would I risk taking the chance again if I did. What am I supposed to do? How can I progress without my trait lines? Two gold is a lot of money for my character, and if I can’t get what I payed for I feel as if Arenanet should return my two gold. You must fix this bug.

I discovered that the problem was not having purchased and used the master’s manual prior to the grandmaster’s. I wish it were explained in the description that a master’s is required for the grandmaster’s manual to work properly.

I did buy and use the Master’s Journal with no problems. I’m at level 74 and just picked up the Grandmaster’s Journal and I can’t get it to work. Double clicked, but nothing. Not an error message… just nothing.
