Guild Wars 2

Hello everyone,

I hope someone can help me out with this little problem of mine. Last year I uninstalled Guild Wars 2 (due to some personal matters), and I decided to play it again and so I downloaded the game client for Windows. I clicked on Gw2Setup.exe and it opened up to the login screen. Time and time again I’ve typed in my correct email and password, yet it just kept loading and loading, unresponsive, and it’s been more than six months already.

I’ve looked around for solutions and the most frequent answer I get is ‘Do you have any security software running by chance? Have you tried simply running the client as admin?’

Yes to both. I have Trend Micro Internet Security, and I’ve also tried running it as admin. I’ve tried turning off my security software and running the client, yet the result was the same. I’ve tried running the client as admin, and nada. If it helps, my operating system is Windows 8.1.

I really like this game and I would like to return to it, so if anyone else has experienced this and fixed it, or can propose a solution, that would be wonderful.
