Guild Wars 2

For two days now I’ve been unable to log onto my main character. I’m a lvl 56 Sylvari Guardian currently in the Dredgehaunt Cliffs. Everytime I try to log onto him the game crashes during the loading area screen (I can see how much I’ve completed in the area) and asks me to send a crash report. On a few rare occasions the game simply freezes indefinitely without crashing. I can log onto my other characters just fine (One in Queensdale and one in the Norn starting area).
Any suggestions?

I get the same thing on any character trying to load into Divinity’s Reach or Queensdale. It just happened today. This still occurs even after doing the automatic game repair. If you have fast internet I would say just redownload the client, but for me it would take a very long time at 300kb/s.

I am having this problem as well. Friday night right before the servers started acting up, I was running my Sylvari and she was just exiting her instance when everything crashed. I am now unable to load her but can load other characters. My husband who was also running his Sylvari and exiting his instance at the same time is experiencing the same problem.

I am assuming that the correlation of people not being able to run certain characters goes back to what happened Friday night/Sat morning.

I´m experiencing the same problem. Although, I deleted that character and made a new one. The new one has the exact same name/nick and I still get a crash when trying to load that character. This occur every time. I can load all the other characters I have created.

The problem is now solved, for me.)

It has now been almost a week and the problem persists, even after today’s update. I have sent several crash reports and everything.

It seems like this issue has not been solved I´m experiencing the crashes again.
