I just brought a 20 slot crafting bag off the AH and placed it in my bank so my alt can use.
Logged onto my alt and moved the bag into my inventory.
When I tried to drag it to the slot I wanted it at I got the pop up confirming my action. When I clicked yes, it disappeared. I still have a 8 slot inviso bag there.

What happen? that bag was worth 12 gold. now poof!!

How can I get a ticket to get it back wherever it went? I dont want to pay for a new bag if this same event repeats….Really I dont feel I should have to pay for a new bag when I already paid for this bag.

You deleted it is what likely happened. Bags are account bound so there is no confirmation.

Did you carefully read what the confirmation was asking you? Equipping a bag will not have a prompt. Dragging just outside your screen will produce a prompt to destroy any item.

The likely scenario is that you missed the box and accidentally dropped it into “the world”, which would create a prompt asking you if you want to delete it. This is really the only prompt you can generate by using any bag.

well crap. Any way to recover it then?

Also I bought it off the AH. So wanst soul bound. I put it in bank to transfer to alt. Logged into Alt and dragged it to the bag slot over the other bag.

I will buy another. But this time be more careful of the warning. if it happens again than clearly its a GW2 side issue.

If it happens again and you’re absolutely certain the box isn’t asking you if you want to destroy the item, then submit a ticket.

when you buy bag from TP, it NEVER asks anything when you put it in the slot. as they are not bound in any way. you can replace and sell them anytime
