Hey guys,

So as the title suggest somehow my game keeps freezing since the patch.
Nothing used to be wrong with the game it is totally random no indication as in lag or what so ever before it happens.

I have tried the ‘’-repair’’ on the target line of the client and funny thing happened, once it was repairing the client crashed as well! ( game not launched)
Now people will probably suggest re-install the entire game which i actually did.
I uninstalled the game properly and cleared everything of the game even register etc,
but sadly it still happens and i don’t know what to do anymore.
(Will post crash log once it happens)

PS: It does not matter on which quality settings i run the game.

Here is the crash log file that i have been getting lately kind of weird it says my OS is windows 6.2 while it is windows 8.1.

^ Looks like your harddrive is defect, or if your luck its just your SATA cable.

Check also your windows system log if you see those errors there.

Checked the system log and no Fatal disk-error 1117 found anywhere.
No notable errors at the time of the crash or anything disk related.
Some other info i don’t have any crashes with other games or programs.

If there is an unrecoverable read error on your harddrive where the GW2 is located, then of course you don’t have problems with other programs.

You can try of course to rename your GW2.dat so that it still uses that space and download a new one.

However i would also exchange the SATA cable and look if that helps and chek the SMART status of the disk wit a program like this :

Did some deep digging and found out it was caused by a bug in windows, event id 153 looking a solution from that new found info.

Also i noticed when i get in certain spots in WvW i crash, i tried this 6 times and went to the circled spot in the screenshot and all 6 times i crashed.

allready read the blog post nearly all of them they are kinda useless

Looked up my hard drives product name etc.. will try to fix it with provided support tool for Seagate hard drives will post if this works.
