Over the last 10 hours the Gates of Arah event in Cursed Shores (to unlock the Arah dungeon) has been stuck telling me that the pact is regrouping and preparing to do something, but they haven’t done anything…and I can’t get to the Arah dungeon

This is becoming a problem for many of my guild mates as well.

Yeah seeing as its the ‘final’ dungeon in the game, you can’t even use it now. Quite the problem I’d say.

I’m not 100% sure which of all the ongoing events that are needed for Arah to open but I’ve noticed that:

1. Magister Izzmek stucks about 60 meters away from his final destination for lightning some signal beacon. (Quest named: Escort Magister Izzmek to the site of the first signal beacon)

2. Warmaster Jofast seems to be chilling under a bridge instead of completing his objective south of Noose Road. (Questname: Pact Operation Southern Advancement) If you ressurect Jofast you trigger the event to defend the camp once you “succeed” with the event. Nothing changes… Jofast continues to chill under the bridge and dies eventually → rinse and repeat … nothing proceeds / changes.

Same issue is happenning on the Kaineng server right now.

Quest “Escort Warmaster Jofast and her caravan to retake her camp” is stuck – Jofast is not going anywhere.
As a result the quest chain is blocked and it’s impossible to open the Arah gate.

on Dzagonur, Warmaster Jofast’s event is stuck the same way. sometimes she stands in a slightly different spot, but the outcome is the same. generally speaking, this event is usually stuck our server, which is very frustrating

I’m beginning to wonder what Arenanet is going to do to fix these game breaking bugs, because at the moment they are game breaking for level 80 players.

I’m starting to think getting this game was a mistake with all the bugged/broken things in it.

this is really getting a problem for everybody all the chain events are bugged most of the time only after an update it will work for maybe a few hours and then guess what its bugged again —’ i think they need to inplement an auto server restart daily with a notice 2 hours before the reset so people can plan ahead for dungeons this can be a temporary fix until they finally find what is causing these bugs because now they are just losing players…… and europe servers are already dead at night (sleeping) xD
