Guild Wars 2

I seem to keep having this bug, and I"m not sure whether it’s just me personally or if it’s a game bug. However, whenever I’m mining an ore or chopping, or etc, if I click M to open up map while mining/gathering/etc, and then close M, I won’t see any loot. Basically, I don’t get anything from the resource if I open up map anytime in between the process. Also, I see the resource icon on the map too showing as if I haven’t mined/gathered that location.
Would be great if someone could fix this!

Came here to see if anyone else had this issue. I keep forgetting that it does this, until the map is open that is, then I’m like “Crap, there goes another node”. Any word if this is known or being looked into?

I have this happen all the time, but I haven’t actually lost anything.

What you need to do is after closing your map, back away from the node about 10 feet, then walk back towards it and you should be able to “Search” the node using the F button. Just like looting.
