I seem to have a problem buying Gem, every time I try to I get this message:

“Unfortunately there was an error with the payment provider. Please try again later. If this error still persists please contact customer care.”

This has been happening for quite a while I believe, the last time I bought Gem I got the same message 3 times but within a few days I was charged for all 3 attempts and the Gem appeared in my account wallet.
Is this a known issue? or is there a problem with the site am?

I’m posting this here encase anyone else that has this issue knows what’s going on.

It happened to me a few weeks ago with Paypal payment method. I let them know about the problem and received a refund for the extra charges.

You can file a ticket and get a refund if you didn’t touch the gems.

I have just received this error now and have never experienced this before, I tried a second time and received the same error. I did not receive a confirmation email from Anet or Paypal and also did not receive my Gems.

I hope i have not been charged for these failed attempts.

yea don’t do it more than once, just be patient wait about 30 mins, otherwise it’s gonna keep charging ya every time you try again.
